Caught up on the last few podcasts on a long drive today. Laughed out loud when Scotty asked why Gibby didn't like him on the podcast and you said "I don't know, maybe he watched it?'. I was also wondering if it's sayonara to The Gibby Show. That would be a shame.

You also mentioned John Lott in one of the podcasts. Aside from talking to Pat Tabler and Ellis Valentine in the future, I would love to hear you and John chat about your time covering baseball (particularly the Jays). I find this aspect of your podcast the most fascinating when you and Scotty bring us behind the scenes. Loved John's writing as well.

First time I've listened. Interesting and revealing discussion about team finances re regional sports network going under, and how those teams might be looking to strip payroll. One quibble (and I'm no prude at all; my son does a political podcast where he and his partners spray F-bombs around with abandon): the fan base is no longer 95% cigar-chomping white guys, and we're way past the era when your potential listeners should hear somebody say that a broadcast network went "tits up". Scatological and sexual bluntness are all on the table now, and we're better for it, but let's leave the high-school locker-room vulgarity out of it.
