Exit Philosophy had gone a full week between the recording of Episodes 24-25 without a Blue Jays victory to talk about, dropping from a game under .500 to eight games below, before finally winning a game on Tuesday at Fenway Park. Yet, even with all that, the Jays’ management, starting with Rogers ownership, to President Mark Shapiro, to GM Ross Atkins all remain, basically, silent, leaving manager John Schneider and the players to fend for themselves in the face of an increasingly agitated fanbase. Is it over for the Jays in 2024 as even thinking they can be fringe wild-card contenders and if so are they sellers at the deadline? Can things be any worse? They bring up the organization’s No. 2 prospect, Orelvis Martinez, who as leadingf the AAA-International League in home runs, and almost immediately he is suspended for 80 games, testing positive for use of a Performance Enhancing Drug. All this and more with me and Scotty Mac.

Scotty is getting pretty fired up. I don't think he'll be on Ross Atkins Christmas card list any time soon. The whole situation is just quite depressing. It wasn't supposed to be like this.
