In this week’s YouTube edition of Exit Philosophy, Scott MacArthur and I talk about the wisdom of changes to the 26-man roster vs. changes in the front office. Can the Blue Jays even afford to blow up this group, even if the current, abysmal effort continues to spiral downwards into disaster. Was it a failure of “process” in the off-season, after failing to land Shohei Ohtani, to put all their eggs in the run-prevention basket, with defence and pitching, producing a yawn-inducing product that fans are not interested in. This perceived, soft stretch of the Blue Jays schedule has almost wrapped up and manager John Schneider’s group has failed to take advantage to get back to .500. Now they look ahead to a daunting June schedule that includes 23 of 26 games against teams currently in a playoff position. Why do Canadian sports fans tend to point the finger at management instead of holding the players accountable?

That would be great. But you'll have to come up as we're on the 500 level!
Another great episode both. Really enjoying the podcast and personally think it's the best Jays related one out there. I really do hope it grows and continues. Looking forward to trying to jump on the June 5 live one. Just bought tickets for myself and the family for a late August game against the Angels - first return trip to Toronto in 10 years and the Australian family has never seen a game. I wonder what the attendance will be by then?
