The Blue Jays season is coming to a merciful end and this upcoming off-season becomes critical in terms of how do you rebuild this mess in five months? Start with signing Vlad Guerrero Jr to an extension, rebuilding a bullpen that may have cost them 10 or more potential wins, perhaps make some wise changes in the front office and then look to contending by signing or trading for a couple of big bats. Simple? Maybe not that simple, but, certainly, necessary. Did the Brewers do wrong by Rowdy Tellez, DFA’ing him with four plate appearances needed for a $200K bonus? How does that differ from Zach Pop being optioned three times, craftily adding up to enough days wherein he comes up short of three years service time. That manipulation goes on all the time and costs those athletes an accumulation of lost revenue of far more than $200K. Hey, New York Mets…quit whining about a rainout doubleheader the day after the season. Scotty Mac and I explain this with a discussion explaining the saga of the 1979 Expos, a team that won 95 games but had their own twinbill schedule for the day after the season if they had just beat the Phillies at home on Sunday. All this and more in a series of lasts. Enjoy.

Exit Philisophy will take a short break and return. Scotty Mac is the best. I really enjoyed agreeing and also disagreeing with him. We complemented each other and will remain friends.
Rob, you have now become the bar I must clear in finding a new co-host. 😅
