The Blue Jays returned home from a 4-6 season-opening road trip to open the home schedule at a renovated Rogers Centre against the Mariners. Something seemed different about this opener as even the pre-game ceremonies were greeted with subdued cheers and applause. But the Jays offence came to life against M’s ace Luis Castillo, while RH Jose Berrios looks like he might become this year’s ace of the Jays rotation. Scotty Mac and I discuss why the Jays may hit better vs. premier pitchers, what’s eating Jays fans, theories on the huge number of injuries to pitchers around baseball and much, much more.
