Even before the revelation of Shohei Ohtani’s unique salary structure on a 10-year contract with the Dodgers, this huge free-agent signing by L.A. was already a devastating blow to the Blue Jays and their fanbase, losing out in the chase for the most talented player in the game after being led to believe on Friday that Ohtani was on a private jet headed to Toronto. Oh yeah, and the Yankees got Juan Soto. Can they find a way to win back the fans?
