Jose Bautista Level of Excellence highlights weekend matchup vs. Cubs
The Jays celebrated the legacy of Jose Bautista raising him to the level of excellence in a moving Saturday ceremony. The Jays moved on from the three weeks of a six-man rotation by sending the still struggling Alek Manoah to AAA-Buffalo. Hyun Jin Ryu made a remarkable start on Sunday to salvage one game against the surging Cubs. Ryu’s performance came less than a week after hit in the right knee by a line drive.
