The Jays on Wednesday night held a one-run lead with two out in the top of the fifth inning, when an errant throw from third-baseman Santiago Espinal on a routine groundball ended up bouncing past Vlad Guerrero Jr. at first base with two runs scoring and all of a sudden Kevin Gausman trailed in the game and the Jays were never able to recover.
