Already a week into exhibition games in Florida and second and third base continue to remain wide-open for the Blue Jays. Upon further review, the best current fit at third base for Toronto in this wide-open window of playoff opportunity may very well be Matt Chapman, on a short term deal. Having a difficult winter, Chapman’s agent, Scott Boras has just set the new bar with Cody Bellinger’s contract with the Cubs, three years, $80-million with an opt-out after each of the first two seasons.
