I think we’ll see Rogers used in certain save situations, depending on the circumstances, making it a 1 and 1A system with Hoffman. And I think we’ll see Fluharty in more high leverage situations. The guy has ice water in his veins.
Lukes is a solid part of the outfield mix, but I think Bellinger is in a New York State of mind. Bo is exploring before hopefully getting back to the Jaysnwith what he has found out about his market value
I still hate the idea of having to rely on Jeff Hoffman to secure the final 3 outs in a season. Yes, the team was 2 outs away from a World Series, but Hoffman's proclivity to issue home runs in those circumstances was very high, and his control can be problematic. Garcia could be a fill-in from time to time but his injury history is problematic. Perhaps Varland could be the guy longer term? My only concern there is that Varland also has a tendency to issue walks and home runs. I would happily drop Nance and Little if it meant adding someone like Fairbanks or Brad Keller? Nance had a great year, but it's unrealistic to expect more from him. Little should be dropped in any case: once batters figured out that it's best to lay off his erratic stuff and force him to throw strikes, he was done like dinner. I envisage Ricky Tiedemann coming in as the team's power LH relief pitcher.
Granted the priority at this point must shift to re-signing Bo or getting Tucker (or, better still, signing both), but you have never have too much pitching. If Mason Miller all of a sudden becomes available from San Diego, I'd make enquiries there as well!

Thanks Griff. What about nabbing Bellinger? I hope to see the Jays paying Bo to keep him. And holding on to Lukes.
